Merilee Karr
CEO
Having visited over 80 countries and stayed in everything from remote huts to 5-star hotels, Merilee has one unshakeable conviction: hospitality is always about the personal touch. Before founding UnderTheDoormat Group in 2014, she spent 13 years at Shell overseeing operations across global markets - experience that gave her the rigour to build a business guests and homeowners can genuinely rely on. She merged with Veeve in 2023, a brand whose standards she'd long admired. As CEO, Merilee is particularly proud of the industry-leading, Lloyds of London-backed insurance that gives every Veeve owner the confidence to open their home to guests.

Leo Medley
General Manager
Leo brings over a decade of operational leadership across hospitality, leisure and short-term rentals to his role at Veeve London. Before joining Veeve, he held senior positions at Sykes Cottages, overseeing 8,000+ managed properties, and at David Lloyd Leisure, where he led pan-European integrations and acquisitions. Since joining Veeve, he's applied that rigour to running the UK business: 1,000+ properties across 6 cities, leading a team that spans operations, guest experience and commercial. A well-travelled guest himself, Leo understands the Veeve experience from both sides of the door and is quietly focused on making sure every home reaches its full potential.

Kate Ross
Head of Client Success
Kate has worked in the short-term rental industry for over a decade, navigating everything from the rise of privately managed Airbnbs to working across the London (2012) and more recent Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the global pandemic. What drew her to Veeve then, and remains today, is the passion and drive behind the company. She lists her own home through Veeve and travels regularly as a guest, which means she understands both sides of the relationship. Kate believes communication is everything in this industry, and takes genuine pride in the homeowner relationships she has built, some of which span more than a decade.

Tom Wilkinson
Account & Guest Sales Manager
Tom has spent over 7 years at Veeve and knows the portfolio inside out. A modern languages graduate, his French and Spanish come in surprisingly useful, whether he's working with international guests or Parisian homeowners. As Guest Sales Manager, his days are spent matching guests with their perfect property, and more recently he's also taken on host acquisitions, helping new homeowners understand what listing with Veeve can do for them. With a keen eye for detail and a deep knowledge of London's neighbourhoods, Tom has a genuine belief that a Veeve home offers something no hotel ever could.

Amy Henson
Account Manager
Amy came to Veeve with a solid background in account management and a natural instinct for listening to what clients actually need. What drew her in was the culture, the sense that people here genuinely enjoy working together and care about what they're building. As Account Manager, Amy looks after homeowners day to day, managing their property profiles and handling whatever comes up, from maintenance queries to booking issues. She knows that when something needs sorting quickly, the speed and care with which it's handled makes all the difference.

Raphael spent years working his way up through boutique hotel management in central London, from receptionist to General Manager. That grounding in traditional hospitality gave him a sharp instinct for what great service looks like in practice. Three years ago he made the move into short-term rentals, drawn by the tech-led, fast-growing nature of the industry. As Account and Guest Experience Manager, Raphael looks after both homeowners and guests, with a particular strength in swift, calm resolution management. He takes pride in keeping standards high and problems short-lived.

Baptiste Broux
General Manager
Baptiste travaille chez Veeve depuis 2017, où il a été recruté pour lancer et développer l'activité française à partir de zéro. Avant de rejoindre Veeve, il a bâti sa carrière à la croisée de l'hôtellerie et de l'immobilier, débutant à Disneyland Paris avant d'occuper des postes dans la vente et la gestion de portefeuille chez Paris Attitude, où il a travaillé avec une clientèle internationale. Diplômé de la Paris School of Business et ayant suivi des études de marketing à la Stockholm School of Economics, Baptiste apporte à la direction de Veeve France à la fois une connaissance approfondie du marché parisien et une perspective véritablement internationale.

Justine Barbieux
Host Success & Business Development
Justine travaille chez Veeve depuis sept ans ; elle a rejoint l'entreprise dès l'obtention de son master en marketing du luxe, un diplôme en parfaite adéquation avec les biens immobiliers haut de gamme parisiens dont elle s'occupe aujourd'hui.Ayant débuté comme réceptionniste avant de passer par le service commercial pour occuper son poste actuel de responsable du développement commercial, elle connaît l'entreprise Veeve de fond en comble. Justine travaille quotidiennement en étroite collaboration avec les propriétaires parisiens, leur apportant une réactivité et un souci du détail qui transforment une bonne relation en une relation durable. Elle adore son travail, les valeurs de l'entreprise et l'équipe avec laquelle elle les partage.
