    hidden gem is the Parkland Walk – an abandoned railway track which once connected Finsbury Park to Highgate – which runs through Crouch End and has been transformed into a marvellous green-space for those in the city in need of a place to wander. Well worth a visit is the Hornsey Town Hall, a 1930s masterpiece in art-deco architecture which is the midst of being full-restored and turned into an arts centre, with its official opening billed for 2022.
