What Makes a Veeve Home?
We handpick our homes, so they are ideally suited for city stays. Which means not all homes are suited to being a Veeve home. So, what do we look for when deciding on whether a property becomes part of our selected portfolio?
We spoke to our Head of New Homes, Kate Ross, to understand what makes a Veeve home.
- A Veeve property needs to be homely, but with a level of interior design.
- We look for a bit of wow factor — whether that’s a unique feature, such as a roof terrace with views of the local area, historical details such as being the home of a former literary icon, or perhaps a garden that would rival a Chelsea flower show entrant.
- Interesting architecture is a staple feature of a Veeve home. We have a wide range of architectural styles within our portfolio, from modernist masterpieces to Georgian grandeur.
- Veeve homes are located in desirable London areas where our guests typically request to stay.
- This includes central London locations — such as Belgravia, Knightsbridge and South Kensington— as well as more residential areas that offer good transport connections, for instance, Hampstead, Islington, Clapham, Fulham, and many more.
- Please speak to one of our New Homes team to find out if your home is located in an ideal area for Veeve.
- It’s important that the home offers a good-sized reception room, with space for guests to relax.
- When on holiday, comfortable beds are key for a restful night’s sleep. Ideally, we like bedrooms to offer a King-size bed. Homes with large beds are more likely to be booked by our guests.
- From Sonos speakers to air conditioning, a boiling water tap, to a handy wine cooler, it is a real benefit when homes offer additional amenities that our guests will love.
- To cater to everyone’s needs, we ideally like bathrooms that offer both a bath and walk-in shower, so guests can enjoy a relaxing soak or refreshing rinse depending on their mood.
- Many of our homes are suited to family stays, so amenities that will go down well with the kids such as a playroom, table tennis table, or a trampoline will provide a welcome bonus feature of the home. Ideal for helping the parents to enjoy some relaxation and for the children to stay entertained during the stay.
