Your Perfect Day in Paris

Your Perfect Day in Paris

– written by Justine, our Host Success and Business Development Manager in Paris

09h00

To start the day, we’re going to get a little higher. Join me at home and let’s go up to the 15th floor of my building. There’s a café where you can admire Paris like you’ve never seen it before, with an incredible view over the Île Saint-Louis and the Île de la Cité. Paris will slowly wake up…

Bonnie — 10 Rue Agrippa d’Aubigné, 75004

10h00

Now that we’ve watched Paris wake up, it’s time to go and discover it. We’ll hop on Metro Line 7 to Opéra, which we’ll only admire from afar, because I’m taking you a little further, to Rue Auber. Behind a beautiful storefront, you’ll find the Fragonard Museum, where we can learn about the history of perfume. You’ll see, some of the scents will make you feel like you’ve travelled to a beautiful garden in the south of France.

Fragonard Museum — 9 Rue Scribe, 75009

12h30

After travelling through time thanks to these perfumes, it’s time to make our taste buds travel too. So follow me to a very, very hidden private mansion in the 18th arrondissement. We’ll have a typical French meal, with stuffed courgettes, and if you’re as much of a foodie as I am, I suggest we finish with the best lemon meringue pie in Paris.

Hôtel Particulier — 23 Avenue Junot, 75018

14h00

Now, let’s head to the Musée de la Vie Romantique. We’ll settle down in its former greenhouse, which has been transformed into a tea room. We’ll listen to the birds singing, and time will simply stop…

But it’s time to leave this romantic little escape behind. It’s time for some shopping!

Musée de la Vie Romantique — 16 Rue Chaptal, 75009

15h00

For that, we’re even going to leave Paris, but don’t worry, the border is just around the corner. We’re going to explore the Saint-Ouen flea market, where you can find a little bit of everything: antique objects, vinyl records, old books, or even a very vintage leather jacket… It’s the perfect place to go treasure hunting.

Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen — 124 Rue des Rosiers, 93400

16h00

After finding some great treasures, it’s time to recharge our batteries. And since I know you’d love to have the same picture as Emily in Paris, we’ll head to Saint-Germain to taste the best croissant in Paris.

La Maison d’Isabelle — 47ter Boulevard Saint Germain, 75005

17h00

Once we’ve finished our afternoon treat, it’s time to enjoy the last few hours of daylight. So instead of getting on one of the famous tourist boats, let’s hop aboard an electric boat on the Canal Saint-Martin and discover a whole new side of the capital.

Marin d’Eau Douce — 37 Quai de la Seine, 75019

19h00

And to finish the day, I have one last surprise for you. You’ll think we’re going to have dinner in an Italian restaurant, but push open the big refrigerator door and you’ll find yourself in a Gatsby-style bar, where we can enjoy some amazing cocktails.

Moonshiner — 5 Rue Sedaine, 75011
